Commission Meeting, April 8, 2021

The U.S. AbilityOne Commission will hold its regular quarterly public meeting on April 8, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. – noon. The meeting will be led by Commission Chairperson Jeffrey A. Koses and take place via Zoom webinar.


Listening Session: The meeting will include a 90-minute listening session from
10:30 a.m. to noon, during which members of the public are invited to orally address the Commission for 3 minutes.

Members of the public who wish to address the Commission orally must submit comments or a statement as part of the meeting registration process.

Comments will be shared at the meeting, and speakers will be identified, based on registrations received.


Deadline to Register: Members of the public attending, and not submitting statements or comments, should register on or before Wednesday April 7, 2021, by 5 p.m. EDT, via this registration form.


Deadline for Submitting Statements: Input must be submitted on or before Tuesday, April 6, 2021.

Members of the public wishing to provide input on any, or all, of the four topics listed below may do so in the “Questions and Comments” block in the registration form. Do not include any personally identifiable information that you do not want publicly disclosed – e.g., address, phone number or other contact information, or confidential business information.


To accommodate as many speakers as possible during the listening session, speakers should plan to limit their oral statements to 3 minutes.

Listening Session Topics:


For the listening session, the Commission requests comments or statements that address the following topics:

(1) How can the AbilityOne Program contribute to the objectives of Executive Order 13985 on Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities Through the Federal Government?


(2) How can the Commission increase transparency in its administration of the AbilityOne Program and/or its own operations?


(3) What future Commission meeting topics or presentations would members of the public like to see to better understand the AbilityOne Program?


(4) Other

In addition to the listening session, the April 8 meeting will include updates provided by Executive Director Tina Ballard and others.
