Deputy Senior Procurement Executive and Director, Office of Acquisition Management, Department of Justice

Tara Jamison is the Deputy Senior Procurement Executive and Director of the Office of Acquisition Management for the Department of Justice.

She is the principal consultant to the Chief Acquisition Officer and Senior Procurement Executive, and oversees all acquisition-related policy, new initiatives, systems, workforce programs, and strategic priorities. Jamison provides leadership to over 5,600 acquisition workforce members worldwide in executing a complex acquisition portfolio. She also leads headquarters operational procurement staff in supporting the Department’s Justice Management Division, CXO organizations, and Offices, Boards, and Divisions, including all senior leadership offices and litigating components.

She serves as DOJ’s Department Competition Advocate, Task Order Ombudsman, and Executive Sponsor for the DOJ Government Charge Card Program. Her acquisition background includes the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau as well as the Department of the Navy. She is the recipient of a Department of Justice, Justice Management Division, Special Commendation Award, and the Department of Defense David Packard Excellence in Acquisition Award.
